It was just a week ago on Saturday Night Live on the Fox Oldies Sam and Brock got to chatting about songs that sound like the Beatles. The next day I started working on a list of my favorite Beatle clone songs.
By this point I can say I am working on a list of my Top 50 Beatle influenced songs. I can tell you the time frame stretches from 1964 to 2017. I can also tell you very few of these songs charted and quite a few are album cuts.
That being said these songs up for consideration really capture the Beatles sound. There are no remakes, Beatle solo works, or songs written by any of the Beatles.
Hard to say when I will finish but when I do I will post it and I think the FOX listeners will find it interesting and hopefully it will lead you to discover a lot of unknown Beatlesque gems.
